Ted Drew devoted much of his time and energy for the betterment of ORR’s athletic programs and local youth sports. As a student at ORR, Ted played football, golf and hockey and was captain and MVP of ORR’s hockey team. He recognized that playing sports can provide many benefits and opportunities for children and youth. Ted was one of the founders of the ORR Athletic Booster Club, an organization that has become integral to the success of ORR athletics. He volunteered for several foundations that supported girls’ soccer, track, and softball, and as a coach, he helped develop the skills of youngsters in local youth soccer and hockey programs. Ted was the recipient of Rochester Youth Hockey’s Slim Bernier Award for Outstanding Contributions to Youth Hockey Development. The ORR Athletic Hall of Fame recognizes and thanks Ted Drew for his significant contributions to Old Rochester Regional High School athletics.

SOURCES & HISTORICAL NOTES
October 16, 2026: plaque biography reconciled directly against the existing photograph of the physical 2016 plaque. The inscription matches. Printed errors and induction-era claims remain part of the plaque record; this is not independent verification of every historical claim. No photographs were added or changed.
Official 2016 manufacturer artwork recognizes Ted Drew Jr. for significant contributions and supports his Contributor classification. The previously approved ORRAHOF portrait already stored in Webflow was promoted from secondary to primary display without reprocessing.
The Hall of Fame archive also preserves the complete 2016 display (IMG_1869.JPEG), pairing the historical photograph and induction plaque. That original display is included in the profile gallery.
October 14, 2026: text-only editorial review against the existing Hall biography and source notes. Existing history covers the available Hall achievements; retained rather than padded. This review does not certify an exact physical-plaque match or current record status.
