Hall of Fame Plaque Biography

While Bob played football and soccer at ORR, it was on the track where he made his mark. Bob was one of the area’s top sprinters, setting indoor track school, meet, and conference records in the 50m, 300m and 600m events and winning the 300 at the D4 state meet. He was undefeated in dual meet races his senior year and was a 4-time SCC All Star and 2-time Standard Times All Star. In spring track, Bob set school records in the 100, 200 and 400 meter dashes and set the SCC record in the 400. Undefeated in dual meets his junior and senior seasons, he was the D4 state champ in the 200 his junior year. Bob was named an SCC All Star four times and a Standard Times All Star three times in outdoor track.
