Bob Liljedahl was a three sport athlete for ORR, playing football, basketball and baseball all four years. While he was an SCC All Star in baseball, football was Bob’s primary sport. Starting at quarterback for the first time his junior year, Bob set a school record with 19 touchdown passes, then followed up with another 13 TDs his senior year to set a record of 32 career TD passes. An SCC, Standard Times and Boston Globe All Star, Bob also holds the distinction of being the first ORR athlete to win the prestigious Otto Graham Award as the area’s top senior football player. Bob went on to play football at Wesleyan University and earn his law degree at Suffolk University.

SOURCES & HISTORICAL NOTES
Official 2013 plaque biography reconciled directly with the original physical-plaque photograph IMG_1825.HEIC, supplied by ORRAHOF, on October 10, 2026. Original wording and punctuation are preserved.
The plaque supplies the induction-era athletic record and the basis for the expanded history. The approved yearbook portrait and complete Hall of Fame display are original historical sources supplied by ORRAHOF.
Original photographs remain in the Hall-owned archive. Approved primary portraits and existing gallery photographs are retained. The 2013 induction recording has not been located by ORCTV; no ceremony link is currently available.
Award-history question: this plaque calls Liljedahl the first ORR Otto Graham Award winner, while Christopher Riley’s 2011 plaque reports a win in his earlier career. Both original inscriptions are preserved; the first-winner distinction awaits the award’s original recipient register.
