THE COMPLETE STORY

Expanded Historical Profile

Andrew “Andy” MacGregor was one of the area’s leading three-sport athletes during his years at Old Rochester Regional. He earned three varsity letters in basketball and served as team captain, contributing leadership on the court throughout his ORR career.

MacGregor also earned three baseball letters, captained the team, and was selected as a conference All-Star twice. His greatest sustained recognition came in golf, where he earned four varsity letters, served as team captain, and received South Coast Conference All-Star honors in all four seasons.

MacGregor’s combined athletic and academic accomplishments brought him recognition as one of only 10 Boston Globe Scholar-Athlete Award recipients during his senior year. He graduated from ORR in 1991.
